Food dust fills my feeder ports.

Omlet feeders work well with a wide variety of chicken feeds. Being gravity fed, any of the excess dust or debris from the bottom of feed bags will quickly find its way to the bottom of the feeder.

Chickens generally do not like dusty feed. It can lead to respiratory issues, and is more susceptible to mould growth

It is suggested not to pour the contents right from the bag into the feeder.

Instead, decant the feed bags into suitable sealed storage containers or buckets using a scoop or sieve to filter out the dust and debris. This will also help keep feed free of excess moisture.
