How to check the fail-safe release mechanism screws are tight
Use a cross head screwdriver to tighten the screws on the front of the door. You may need to wiggle the door left and right so the gear and the rack sit together well.
These screws need to be tightened to the point of resistance but no further, with the handles not able to be pulled out. Over tightening may prevent the door from running smoothly or moving and may damage the motor.
