How to check the Autodoor wiring

This describes checking the wire which runs from the control panel to the motor.

Step 1 - Check the wire is securely connected into the control panel.

You will need to unscrew the back of the control panel.

Step 2 - Check the wiring for any damage - e.g. cuts, scrapes and kinks

Step 3 - Check the condition of the wire inside the door frame

You will need to remove the cover on the back of the door. You will need to take the door off your coop to do this.
