My Autodoor leaves a physical gap when opening/closing
Does your Autodoor not open or close all the way? Then follow these troubleshooting steps. If you have a non-smart Autodoor, skip step 1, 6 and 14.
Step 1: Is your firmware up-to-date?
There are two ways to check your firmware version. Either by using the control panel or using the Omlet App.
Step 2: Are you using compatible batteries?
Step 3: Inspect the Autodoor
Ensure nothing is blocking the door.
Step 4: Clean the Autodoor
Step 5: Ensure the fail-safe screws are tightened
Step 6: Recalibrate your Autodoor
Step 7: Check the roosting rack position
Step 8: Check the Autodoor hasn't warped
Step 9: Check the motor of the Autodoor
Step 10: Check the Gear Stay of the motor
Step 11: Check the gear rack of the Autodoor
Step 12: Check the connectors of the control panel
Step 13: Check the wires of the Autodoor
Ensure the wires have not disconnected or unplugged.
Step 14: Recalibrate your Autodoor again
Step 15: Replace the necessary parts
