My Smart Chicken Feeder keeps opening and closing at the wrong time?

If you think your chicken feeder keeps opening at the wrong time, we would advise checking that the timezone on your app is correct. The app will set the timezone to be whichever timezone the phone that provisioned the device is in. You can adjust the timezone by tapping the settings icon on the device card, then tap Localisation. You can then select the timezone from the dropdown box.

If your timezone is correct, but the feeder is still not opening when you expected it to, please check that you are using 24hr clock when setting the open and close times.

If you believe that your door is still not opening when it should be, please use the troubleshooting steps to determine what the current status of your feeder is.

You will need to press the button on the feeder 5 times, there will be 5 flashes of light. Please record what colour each flash says and then refer to the photo below to determine your current mode, if there is any fault present, what your battery life is, and then your connectivity.

If you are unable to further troubleshoot after these diagnostics, please get in touch with our customer service team and state the 5 flashes to them alongside your general email describing the issue.
