How do I clean the Smart Chicken Feeder?

If your feeder is positioned correctly in a sheltered location it’s anti-clog and weatherproof, so you shouldn’t have to clean it regularly. However, depending on what feed you use, dust might build up at the bottom of the feeder, so we recommend you remove the base regularly to wipe off any dirt or debris.

If you need to, you can wash down the outside with the feeding port flaps closed. For internal cleaning we recommend a wipe with a cloth and using a bottle brush if necessary. Do not submerge or soak the feeder, as this can damage the electronic components.
