How the time delay works

You can add a delay to the door’s opening or closing if you find it is opening or closing too early. This delay is applied in addition to the 15-minute light monitoring window, which is only active when the door is in light mode.

For example:

• If the sunlight drops below the close threshold at 18:45, the system will monitor the light level for 15 minutes and normally trigger the door to close at around 19:00.
• If you have set a 10-minute close delay, the door will instead close at around 19:10.

The same principle applies to the door opening.
