What does the “Power Cut Reset” message mean?
This indicates that there has been an interruption to the power supply to the device.
If you are using batteries
Ensure you are using Duracell batteries, and replace the full set when the device reaches 10% power or less. If the issue persists, try using a power supply instead.
If you are using a power supply
First, try a different plug socket. If this does not resolve the issue, switch to batteries. If the batteries work correctly, then test with an alternative power supply.
What to do after a power cut
After experiencing a power cut, or changing batteries, your control panel clock will be reset.
If the control panel is not connected to Wi-Fi, it will revert to light mode to ensure that an incorrect clock does not lead to the door opening in the middle of the night, or closing in the middle of the day.
You will need to:
- Press OK to dismiss this message
- Change the Mode back to Time
- Set the clock back to the current time
Your previously set opening and closing times will have been retained, so your door will operate again as before.
If your control panel is connected to Wi-Fi, it will automatically resynchronise the time, and continue to work as normal.
